So I found this article in Women’s Health that answered a question I’ve had since I was really young. I recall in Middle school dreading running the mile purely because I knew my face would be RED the entire rest of the day. When I work out super hard now, I get a flushed face and it stays for up to 30 minutes post work out. This is due to blood vessels in your face expanding to bring more blood to skin’s surface to cool you off. If this persists longer than 30 minutes, you should see a dermatologist. It could be the result of broken capillaries which could give you permanent pink skin in your face.
Thanks
Women’s Health, I’ve seriously been wondering about this for a while.
