Beautiful bangles.

I’ve kinda been on a mission for a couple of years to collect an armful of beautiful bangles. It’s been slow but definitely successful. Especially after a trip to Sam Moon yesterday. Here’s my current collection that sit in my teacups when they aren’t on my arm:






I blame my recent urge to up the ante on this style blog Atlantic-Pacific. She’s so inspiring it’s ridiculous. I literally am taking more fashion risks- adding more accessories, more scarves, more lipstick, all because she is so bold with her fashion. You can totally see that from these few snapshots here (just follow her though for real- she’s amazing).












She basically wears the same bracelets everyday and throws in an accent piece to coordinate
with her outfit; she obviously doesn’t work on a computer all day because it’s nearly impossible to type without making a ton of noise with THAT many on.

Scarfs, jeggings, & boots season.

It’s officially Autumn. Not so much here in Tejas, but it is quite nice to have some 80 degree weather.

I get excited about this time of the year for 3 things- scarfs, jeggings and boots; and I have accumulated QUITE the collection of these 3 items.

*side note, if you are not aware of what jeggings are they are jeans that wear like leggings. duh. lol

Here’s some of my favorite finds for these fall essentials:




Grey pull ups from Forever21 / light Denim from Target / dark green stretchy from Target / Dark blue denim from The Gap / Black denim from The Gap

Jeggings + boots = BFFs. And if they ever stop making these comfortable perfect pants, I will go nuts on someone.




Plato’s closet find! Half cowgirl, half city slicker / What would I do without these target boots in brown and grey / Similar style from charlotte russe in black / Off-white is the new black, found them on Lulus.com / My mother’s cowboy boots which she may or may not get back. I believe she purchased from Belk


Scarfs make any dull outfit stylish; and they are cozy. I’ve collected SO many over the years I really cant tell you which is from where. But I generally have found them at Target, H&M, NYC street vendors, and Razzberry Fizz.

Nude nails are very fall 2011. And this shade is great because:

1. It dries in a minute or less
2. Has a shimmery UNDERTONE which makes the nudeness of it not so boring
3. Makes your look “polished” literally and figuratively.
4. It’s cheap.

Hey bloggers.

Sorry I have been MIA. I have been trying to avoid the internet in general. I work on a computer 8 hours a day. Instead of blogging on my lunches and when I get home from work- I’ve been sitting/walking outside; simply enjoying nature and the wonderful weather. It’s really done numbers on my mind. At the same time- I really enjoy blogging. Right now I am researching a bunch of eye creams and new skin care products I have stumbled upon. So hopefully I will have some positive feedback from these products that I can share with you in the next couple of months.
